BBSF 2019 The Full Programme!
4 weeks out!! We are so close! The 2019 festival is drawing closer and we are working freakishly behind the scenes to make sure the event is the best yet. We have planned many exciting and unique happenings which are jam-packed into 5 days
from Wednesday Feb 20th to Sunday 24th!
There are a bunch of free, and family-friendly events, 16 to be exact, for you and your mates to enjoy. Have a look here for a full overview of all the events!
WED Feb 20 6-9pm McTavish Factory
Byron Bay Industrial Estate
Tom Carroll 1980-1985 Photo Collection. See the 2 x World Champ and Pipeline Masters live narration of his personal collection of images from the mid 80’s when Tom was dominating Professional Surfing. Also screening will be the National Geographic documentary Salt in the Blood featuring Tom, followed by a Q&A. Film preview here
THURS FEB 21 5-7pm BBSF Photo Comp & Exhibition
McTavish Outpost Store Byron Bay
Come out and see the exhibition of the top 30 entries and the unveiling of this years winners in the 3 categories of Grommet, Hobbyist and Pro’s with guest judges professional photographers Craig Parry & Ming Nomchong Comp is on till Feb 4 so you still have plenty of time to enter your shot via Instagram. Catch both locals and some of the worlds best surfers as they exhibit surfing with style and skill on a variety of surfcraft including, Logs, Soft, Wooden, All girls, Bodysurfing, 10ft ‘Trimmers’ and the all inclusive BBSF Party Wave!!
