ADVICE TO FRIDAY 26 th FEB EVENING TICKET HOLDERS

We have an added bonus for those lucky ticket holders to the Friday 26th Feb Opening Evening of the 2021 Byron Bay Surf Festival at Byron Theatre 6pm. Re the screening of the feature film, ‘Girls can’t Surf’…Please read below

After all the BBSF scheduled events of the evening from our 6pm Beer Garden start till the Girls Cant Surf film Q&A at 8pm with Pauline Menczer & Jodie Cooper, at approximately 8:20pm we are all going on a short excursion 300 metres down the road to watch the evenings Feature Film at Palace Cinemas in Johnson Street for a start time of 8:45pm sharp

Why is this so? Apparently not even a genius like Kelly Slater could fix the sudden (boring) issue we were faced with in time to allow a screening of the movie at Byron Theatre tonight. We at BBSF worked tirelessly with the amazing Byron Theatre and Palace Cinemas teams yesterday and overnight to secure another quality venue for the screening of this amazing movie. Thank you Palace Cinemas for receiving the whole 200 of us with open arms!!

At the conclusion of the film the BBSF Friday program will finish. Thankyou in advance for your understanding and look forward to seeing you this evening! ☺

BONUS!! BILLY OTTO playing live: Our good mate Billy was due to play at the conclusion of the Girls Cant Surf film but will now play from 6-7pm in the Byron theatre beer garden…AND more…Billy will also perform a surprise live song, with a very special  guest, inside the Byron Theatre…Yippee!!! Gonna be so good!
